About 60 dedicated history enthusiasts came out on a cold and snowy February night in Lethbridge to attend the annual banquet of the Lethbridge Historical Society at the Galt Museum and Archives. The Lethbridge Herald gave advance notice of the event by running a review of The Good Steward: The Ernest C. Manning Story. “A fascinating look at Alberta’s growth from one of Canada’s have-not provinces to the economic powerhouse it remains today,” wrote reviewer Dave Sulz. I gave my little talk about Manning, signed a few books, and gathered a few personal anecdotes about Manning that I will gratefully use in future presentations.Click here for reuse options!
